Áp thuế 10,9% với thép cuộn, thép dây nhập khẩu
Bộ Công Thương đã chính thức ban hành Quyết định số 1230 về việc áp dụng biện pháp chống lẩn tránh biện pháp phòng vệ thương mại đối với các sản phẩm thép dây, thép cuộn nhập khẩu vào Việt Nam.
Trước đó, Bộ Công Thương đã ban hành Quyết định số 2622/QĐ-BCT về việc tiến hành điều tra áp dụng biện pháp chống lẩn tránh biện pháp phòng vệ thương mại đối với sản phẩm thép cuộn, thép dây nhập khẩu vào Việt Nam.
Sau gần 1 năm điều tra, Bộ Công Thương đã chính thức áp dụng biện pháp phòng vệ bảo vệ sản xuất trong nước.
Hàng hóa bị áp dụng biện pháp chống lẩn tránh biện pháp phòng vệ thương mại là các sản phẩm thép cuộn, thép dây nhập khẩu có các mã HS: 7213.91.90, 7217.10.10, 7217.10.29, 7229.90.99, 9839.10.00.
Biện pháp chống lẩn tránh biện pháp phòng vệ thương mại được áp dụng dưới hình thức thuế nhập khẩu bổ sung với mức thuế là 10,9% kể từ ngày 28/5/2019 đến hết ngày 21/3/2020 (nếu biện pháp tự vệ ban đầu không gia hạn).
Tổ chức, cá nhân nhập khẩu các mặt hàng thép nêu trên nếu cho rằng hàng hoá nhập khẩu của mình khác biệt với hàng hoá sản xuất trong nước có thể nộp Hồ sơ đề nghị miễn trừ áp dụng biện pháp phòng vệ thương mại.
Trước đó, Cục quản lý cạnh tranh (Bộ Công Thương) cho biết đã quyết định áp dụng biện pháp chống bán phá giá chính thức đối với mặt hàng thép chữ H nhập khẩu, mức thuế áp từ 20,48 đến 29,4% đối với hàng từ Trung Quốc, Hàn Quốc.
